OUR STORY

Kris, owner of HLC Fabrics is a Southern California native who has always been know to her friends as a “creator”. After marrying her husband, Jim (a Washington native), they decided to relocate and plant roots in the Pacific Northwest thus moving the always So Cal based HLC Fabrics to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Having a passion for crafting, painting, sewing and making beautiful and useful things, Kristy’s main focus is textile surface design and needlework. It’s from this passion that HLC Fabrics was born. Since 1997 we have been producing high-quality, hand-dyed, custom designed fabrics using a blend of proprietary techniques which yield unique results.

We strongly believe in supporting local businesses and artists all while being eco-conscious and we try to reflect this in our product lines and day to day business operations. As we get established here in the PNW we will be adding to our staff and expanding product lines. Thank you for your interest in our company and products.
